T-Town Returns to the Tacoma Dome Oct. 30

Trunk-or-Treat, Big Trucks, and Big Fun

The City of Tacoma, Tacoma Public Schools, and Korsmo Construction invite community members to T-Town at the Tacoma Dome on Friday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Explore the wheels at work with real fire trucks and SWAT tanks, strap on virtual goggles to see through the eyes of high voltage electrical workers, learn all about Tacoma Rail and the train system, ride bikes to create electricity, and so much more. The event theme, Play. Explore. Learn. Work., offers something for everyone in the family, and this year is bigger and bolder than ever!

This free, family-friendly event is a unique opportunity for Tacoma residents to celebrate fall, explore trade and career opportunities, and engage in fun, hands-on activities.

Community members of all ages will find a safe, warm place to “Trunk-or-Treat” in costume with friends and family while experiencing a wide range of City services through interactive booths and live demonstrations.

Guests can also discover their future at the Tacoma Public Schools and Korsmo Construction Trades & Hiring Fair. Experience trade occupation activities with local employers, apply on site, explore apprenticeships and training programs, and other rewarding careers.

Thousands of students from across 10 South Puget Sound school districts will be bussed in for this event, exploring career pathways in industries like maritime, transportation, construction, and logistics. Businesses interested in participating in the Trades & Hiring Fair can sign up here.
