Christmas in July: Tacoma Dome Hosts Outdoor-Fun Drive During Major Events

The Tacoma Dome is excited to give back to the community this summer by hosting a “Christmas in July: Outdoor-Fun Donation Drive,” benefitting young people enrolled in the Tacoma Rescue Misson youth program.

As thousands of fans gather for July’s Forrest Frank and ENHYPEN shows, Tacoma Venues & Events will be accepting new or gently used outdoor toys and activities to help the emotional and social development of children experiencing homelessness in the area.

Donations can include:

  • Soccer balls

  • Playground equipment

  • Footballs

  • Jump ropes

  • Basketballs

  • Frisbees

  • Sidewalk chalk

  • Bubbles

  • And more!

Giving back to the community is an important part of Tacoma Venues & Events’ work, and anyone who wants to help by donating can also enter for the chance to win exciting prizes, including show merchandise and tickets to upcoming Tacoma Dome events.

Donations can be dropped off at the SW doors of the Tacoma Dome, 5:30-8 p.m.* on Friday, July 10, and 5:30-7:30 p.m.* on Sunday, July 26. Look for the blue Tacoma Venues & Events tent!
